The Library Professionals Foundation empowers and supports its members through educational, advocacy, and learning programs.

Aims & Objectives
1. To carry out all such activities as may be necessary for the library welfare of the members of the foundation.
2. Promote organization of forums such foundation, societies, and association of Women, youth, and workers with a view to undertake collective activities for socio-economic Development.
3.To organize and participate in library conference, seminars, workshops, and webinars.
4. To open, found, establish, promote, set-up, run maintain, assist, finance, support and for help the various library development programs and Mailbox Libraries.
5. To effectively work for gender inequalities exploitations and injustice encourage assist talented artists, poets, singers, writers, social workers, journalists, doctors Judges, Librarians etc.
6. To collect information, Notices, Notifications, Policies from the Government, Semi Government, National/International Agencies and N.G.Os and provide the same to the members of the society and the general public.
7. To open institution for fine arts, library, computer, electronics, home management and provide special vocational training for library development.
8. To give training in technical, commercial or any other form of education, as may be adopted by the society from time to time in such a way as to enable candidates who find themselves stranded in life for want of or with the present educational qualifications to make out their livelihood. Training includes theoretical, practical and lecturing.

10. To do best efforts for promotion of plantation, to control the environmental pollution and to work for development of agriculture and forest and do the best efforts for tree plantation.
11. To purchase / acquire the land and / or the building in the name of the foundation for the attainment and fulfillment of the aims of the foundation.

12. To erect, construct, alter, maintain, sell, lease, mortgage, transfer, improve, develop, manage, and control all or any part of the property or the building of the above society, necessary or convenient for the purpose of the attainment of the Aims and Objects of the Society/Foundation.
14.To disseminate knowledge, provide training and education in the aforesaid fields, establish, and maintain schools, colleges, lectureships, libraries, museums, auditoriums.
15. To engage, employ, or hire appropriate staff, workers, legal experts, and other professionals, attorneys, managers, library professionals and agents for the work and furtherance of the aims and objects of the society and to pay their wages, salaries, stipends or fees.
16. To accept donations, grants, presents, gifts and other offerings in the shape of movable and / or immovable properties for the attainment of the aims and objects.
17. To purchase / acquire the land and / or the building in the name of the society for the attainment and fulfillment of the aims of the society.
18. To publish Books, Journals, Magazine, Periodicals, Newsletters / Papers and other publications in different languages and on different subjects.
19. To raise funds through gifts, grant, donations, subscriptions, and membership fees and generally to obtain money for the objects of the society in any lawful manner and to invest, apply or deal with the same in such a manner as may be considered most desirable for giving effect to such objectives. The funds could be raised by rendering technical and managerial consultancies and by executing various programs of the government or any other organization.
20.To enter into any arrangements with any government or any government bodies or local authorities which includes municipalities, panchayat, administration and any other co- operative bodies that may be deemed beneficial to any of the society’s objects and to apply for promote and obtain any subsidies, loans, indemnities, grants, contracts, rights, privileges, concessions, licenses, immunities or authorizations from such government or authority local or otherwise for enabling the society to carry out any of its objectives into effect or for extending any of the powers of the society and to carry out, exercise and comply with any such arrangements, tights, privilege, concession, licenses and authorizations.
21. To invest surplus funds of the society into RBI Bonds and such other government securities as per Income Tax Rules.
22. To submit tenders in govt./semi govt./private sectors for the keeping in view of the aims and objects of the society.
23. All the income, earnings, moveable / or immoveable properties of the society shall be solely utilized and applied towards the promotion of its aims and objects only as set forth in the Memorandum of the Society and no profit thereof shall be paid or transferred directly or indirectly by way of dividends, bonus, profits or in any manner whatsoever to the present or the past members of the society or to any person claiming through anyone or more of the present or the past members.
24. No member of the foundation / society shall have any personal claim on any moveable or immovable properties of the society or make any profit, whatsoever, by virtue of this membership. for the purpose of the attainment of the Aims and Objects of the Society/Foundation.
